What an amazing experience! We recently had a romantic escape in the African bush and it was absolutely unforgettable. the camp had a back-to-nature feel that really added to the charm of the whole experience. the tent was clean, comfortable, and very private, giving us a real sense of being immersed in nature. the food was excellent, with delicious meals cooked over hot coals and enjoyed by lantern light. It was like camping, but with a touch of luxury. We were lucky enough to see elephants, lions, giraffes, and even a cheetah! the guides really went out of their way to make sure we had the best experience possible, sharing their enthusiasm and love for nature.
There were no negatives to our experience at this camp. Everything was beyond our expectations and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic safari experience.

Our safari trips were filled with thrilling sightings of various species, including elephants, lions, and even a baby rhino. The knowledgeable guides shared their passion and expertise, making the experience even more enjoyable. The camp itself was a true adventure of a bygone era, with beautiful tents, a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and top-notch service from the staff. We felt like we had stepped back in time to the golden age of exploration.
My children wanted more activities specifically tailored for them.

I had the most incredible safari experience at Quatermain's. The guides are so knowledgeable and passionate about nature, and they made the whole experience truly authentic. From seeing lions and rhinos up close, to witnessing a baby giraffe being born, it was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure. The camp itself offers a back-to-basics experience with comfortable tents and delicious meals cooked over hot coals. Despite the lack of electricity, the camp still provided a five-star experience. I felt like part of a family during my stay, and the small group of guests allowed for wonderful conversations over wine and meals. The staff were welcoming and made the whole experience memorable. I definitely recommend Quatermain's for anyone looking for an authentic safari adventure.

I absolutely loved the decoration of the camp, it had a charming 1920's safari style that made me feel like I was stepping back in time. The general areas were cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and beautiful views of the surrounding nature. As a senior woman, I found the camp to be very accessible, with clear pathways and assistance available from the staff whenever needed.
I would have appreciated if there were more activities specifically catered towards senior people. Perhaps some low-impact exercise classes or guided nature walks designed with older individuals in mind.
